Robotic Surgery

The surgical team at IRMC is working to redefine the concept of surgery by embracing new technology that allows once invasive surgical procedures to be performed with robotic, remotely-controlled instruments through small incisions. These new surgical techniques increase precision, reduce scarring, and significantly reduce recovery time.

Robotic surgery may be available for the following conditions:

  • Hernia
  • Gallbladder disease
  • Myotomy/Achalasia
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Lower anterior resection
  • Rectal cancer
  • Diverticulitis
  • Colon cancer
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Pelvic prolapse
  • Endometriosis/Adenomyosis
  • Hysterectomy
  • Lung cancer
  • Bladder cancer
  • Prostate cancer
  • Kidney cancer
  • Urinary obstruction
  • Cystectomy
